I want to book reservations for my family at HDDR in January 2020 in Category 1 and wondered if this information for booking on DDP is still accurate from a post in June 2018: DDP can only be applied to Cat. 2 & 3 at all shows and Cat. 1 at 8:30 show.

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kim!

Dining is one of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World Resort and I love a dining experience that gives me a great meal and a little something extra too. That's why I always try to make a reservation for my family for Character Dining, a Dinner Show, or for a restaurant that has a great view of Happily Ever After. It sounds like you're looking at dinner and a show at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, so let's have a look at what kind of tickets you can get when you're redeeming Table-Service credits from the Disney Dining Plan.

When you book your tickets for the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue using the Dining Plan, you can choose from seating in either Category 2 or Category 3. At the moment, Category 1 seating is not eligible for the Disney Dining Plan. If you visit the main page for the show you can scroll down to the bottom to see the layout of the theater inside Pioneer Hall and check out the chart that shows which seats are available when you're using the Dining Plan. The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a legendary long-running dinner show that is really popular with guests, so it's highly recommended to make reservations as soon as you can, up to 180 days in advance.

    Have a magical day, Kim!
