Hi Jeff! If you chose the Standard or Deluxe Dining Plan, which comes with a table service, then booking a character dining restaurant and non-character are one and the same. You book the reservation, then after the reservation it will just count as 1 table service per person (with the exception of Cinderella's Royal Table, which count as 2 per). It is all tied to your Dining Plan and shouldn't require you to pay separately. Good Luck on all your Disney planning!
