Hello Neil! Welcome back to planDisney with a very important planning question.
I am thrilled to hear that you will be celebrating the
50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort. I am also someone who looks forward to all the delicious food at Walt Disney World restaurants.
I am pleased to tell you that guests of select
Disney Resorts Collection hotels can begin making their dining reservations 60 days before their arrival. Since the first part of your trip is on the Disney property, you can make all your reservations for your entire length of stay on the day your reservation window opens. In fact, you can make your
dining reservations for your resort stay right now! Just log in to your My Disney Experience account to make your reservations. You can search by a specific restaurant, by cuisine, or dining experience. I would recommend making your reservations online or by phone today.
Guests who are staying off-site can also make Advanced Dining Reservations 60 days before their arrival. However, reservations can only be made one day at a time, instead of the entire length of the remainder of your stay. You can make your reservations online at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time or as I like to call it Mickey Time, or with a cast member over the phone at 7:00 a.m.
If you are unable to get all of your choices, do not be disappointed. I have found that many guests have a change of plans and cancellations will open up some reservations a day or two before the date you were planning.
I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again here at planDisney.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
