Welcome to planDisney! I can’t think of anything more magical than celebrating the New Year with my friends and family at Walt Disney World! Let’s talk about the New Year’s Eve fireworks options available this year.
Dining reservations and Enchanting Extras, like private Fireworks Cruises and Magic Kingdom Dessert Parties, can be
booked up to 60 days in advance. That means your booking window opened just a few days ago. Looking ahead to December 31 on the
Hours & Events Calendar, we can see that EPCOT will have Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration at 11:54 PM, and Magic Kingdom will have two showings of Fantasy in the Sky fireworks, at 7:30 PM and 11:50 PM. There are three dessert party options at Magic Kingdom: the
Pre-Party,
Seats & Sweets, and
Post-Party.
Fireworks Cruises are offered for the Magic Kingdom fireworks show and the EPCOT fireworks show. These options can be booked through the
Walt Disney World website, the My Disney Experience app, or by calling the
Tours and Recreation phone number.
Another special option for celebrating the New Year is
The Magic of New Year’s Eve at California Grill. This event includes a four-course meal, music, a photo opportunity with Mickey and Minnie, a viewing area of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, and a champagne toast. This special event can only be booked by calling the number listed on the California Grill page, where you’ll also find a description of the menu highlights.
