Can I book a reservation to savi’s workshop with a hopper pass and not a theme park reservation? We plan to go to Hollywood studios after 2pm.

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney Emily. I am excited to tell you about my findings.

When my family visits the Walt Disney World Resort we make sure to stay for at least lt a couple of days to make sure all the parks get their proper salutations. On trips where we have purchased the park hopper option when we visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, it is always in the morning. The residents love to show off first thing in the morning, and I always say head straight for Kilimanjaro Safaris. Later in the afternoon most of them usually nap, I am actually kind of jealous. If you decide to hop to Disney’s Hollywood Studios that day you can do so without a park reservation. If you plan intergalactic travel to Batuu you can make a reservation with Savi without worry.

I do have some tips for travelers to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. First and foremost, the arrangements for Savi’s Workshop must be made in advance. Once you have made it to Batuu look for Black Spire Outpost. Don’t ask for directions because you never know who is working for the First Order. Be very careful and keep an eye out for Kylo Ren and the Stormtroopers they will take and Resistance sympathizers immediately. When you arrive the group known as the “Gatherers” will escort you to a covert workshop to begin your journey to building your very own lightsaber. Only a builder and one guest are allowed into this fantastic experience at a time.

May the force be with you,
