Aloha, Ashton, and welcome to planDisney!
You are going to LOVE dining with beloved Disney characters and starting your day off in a celebratory mood! Let’s get into how you can catch a parade or two after your character breakfast.
‘Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch serves breakfast from 7:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. This means that you’ll have plenty of booking options to eat those delicious Mickey (and Stitch!) Waffles. If the parade that you’re referring to is the dancing march that Lilo, Stitch, and their friends do around the perimeter of the dining area, this happens periodically over the course of your family-style meal.
Now, if you’re trying not to miss the magical parades at Magic Kingdom Park, you also won’t feel the need to rush. Magic Kingdom Park is along the
Disney Monorail route that Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is on. After breakfast, if you don’t have a parking lot limitation, simply go to the hotel’s station and head over to Magic Kingdom Park (theme park ticket required to enter). The
Festival of Fantasy Parade, at the moment, has one showtime at 3 p.m. This 35-minute parade snakes its way from Frontierland to the front of Magic Kingdom Park down Main Street, U.S.A. So, even if you’re not there at the start, you can see it loop around near the end of the parade route. Currently, there is also a shorter
Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade with two morning times. Keep in mind that you’ll want to check the Entertainment showtimes for the week that you’ll be arriving, so that you can plan accordingly.
AN EXTRA GEM: You’ll want to reserve your table at ‘Ohana as early as possible. You can book dining as early as 60 days before your arrival date (plus 10 days, if you’re staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel). ‘Ohana is a super popular dining spot, so if you don’t see any availability on booking day or beyond, try not to worry. Some Guests have a change of plans, so they’ll cancel as the reservation date approaches. I’ve been able to grab seats at restaurants the night before and even the day of. Just keep checking your
My Disney Experience App or the Walt Disney World Resort website.
Ashton, if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation, please revisit us here at planDisney.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
