Character dining is one of my favorite ways to meet our magical friends. The
Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at
Plaza Inn is the only offering where you can enjoy this experience while inside a theme park at the Disneyland Resort! Booking reservations for a large group requires a bit of strategy, and I’ll be happy to get you started.
The
dining reservation system allows you to book up to 20 guests under a single reservation, but as you have experienced, it’s tough to find availability for a large party size. My fellow panelist and pal
Bev is an expert on booking reservations with a large party. Her
recommendation is to split the group into manageable parties of around 4-5 people each.
I took a look at the reservation calendar for Plaza Inn and found that 5 guests may be the sweet spot for a party size. However, there are no reservations available for November 26th at this time. If your plans are flexible, there are a few surrounding dates that have availability for the character breakfast. If you cannot reserve all parties for the same time, try booking them for back-to-back time slots. Please keep in mind that availability is subject to change at any time.
Once you arrive to check in at the restaurant, speak with a Cast Member at the host stand to ask if your parties can be seated next to each other or nearby. Cast Members always try their best to accommodate.
