If I book a reservation with hotel and tickets and one of the attendees can't make it. Can I remove that person from the reservation and receive a refund for their portion?

    Hey there Staci,

Welcome to planDisney and thank so much for your question!

While hotel reservations may be able to be adjusted depending on how far out you are from your trip and the details of your reservation, park tickets are not refundable. According to the eTickets Terms and Conditions page, "Tickets, and associated features and entitlements, such as the Park Hopper or Lightning Lane Multi Pass entitlement, are nonrefundable, nontransferable, revocable and may not be redeemed for cash."

However, while these park tickets are non-refundable, you may still have some options. Typically, standard theme park tickets are not assigned or locked in to a person until they are scanned for the first time when entering a park. Therefore, as long as these tickets have not already been used then they likely could be given to someone else instead if you're able to get someone else to join you on your upcoming visit.

If that is not an option, then you also might be able to use these tickets for a later visit. Again, since tickets are not truly locked into a Guests until they are scanned for entry for the first time, if these tickets remain unused for this upcoming trip then you will still be able to use them for a future trip. While tickets do have an expiration date (usually about 1.5-2 years from the date of purchase), even if they expire you can still use them as a credit to the purchase of future tickets of equal or greater value.

I don't have the ability to see the details of your planned Disneyland Resort vacation, and I want to make sure you get the specific answers based on your reservation and ticket types. Therefore, I would recommend calling a Cast Member at the Vacation Packages line since they'll be able to see the details of your trip and help give you information about your specific situation.

Thanks again for your question, Staci! I hope you have a fun time on your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
