If I book a report and theme park package for January 1-6,2021, would I be able to cancel it for any reason and get a full refund?

    Hi Beth,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great question, and how exciting to be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth on the first days of the New Year!

You will be happy to know that due to these uncertain times, the Walt Disney World Resort has implemented a very generous cancellation policy so you can go ahead and Book With Confidence.  If you have a Disney Resort hotel reservation or a vacation package, which includes Disney Resort hotel and tickets, you may cancel up until the date of check-in without penalty.  This applies for reservations booked directly through Disney through April 30, 2021.

However, I would like to note that if you only purchase theme park tickets for a specific use date, usually those are not refundable.  But there is still a generous policy if you are unable to use your tickets by their use date!  Wholly unused theme park tickets may be applied towards future tickets of equal or greater value and you only have to pay the difference in price.

Did you know that Walt Disney World continually updates their Special Offers?  These offers can save you money on lots of things ~ from theme park tickets, to Memory Maker, or even vacation packages.  You may want to look through the current offers while you are still in the planning phase to see if any of the current selections apply towards your upcoming vacation.

I hope this information is useful to you Beth, and we would love to help you with the rest of your vacation planning!  Please stop by and visit us again with all of your questions and we will help you plan your next Magical adventure!
