How can I book a regular room at Disneyland resort?

Hi there, Alejandra! Welcome to planDisney. I’m so excited to see that you’re planning to stay on property at The Happiest Place on Earth. Whenever I get the chance to stay at the hotels, it puts me in such a great mood knowing the magic continues from sunup to the moment my head hits the comfy pillow after a long park day. I’d love to guide you so you can experience everything the Disneyland Resort hotels have to offer!

The Disneyland Resort has three hotels on property: the Grand Californian, the Disneyland Hotel, and Pixar Place Hotel. Each has its own unique decor and flair, but the Disney service and magic are top notch across all three! When booking a reservation, you’ll set your check-in and check-out dates and indicate the number of Guests staying. Once that’s complete, you can check availability for the dates you’ve chosen.

Each hotel offers a variety of rooms and views, such as premium, club level, pool, Downtown Disney, and even woods-courtyard view if you’re staying at the Grand Californian. The closest thing to a regular room is a standard view, which is available at all three hotels. Standard view rooms are subject to availability and can fill up quickly, especially during major holidays or special events. My best advice is to book as soon as possible to guarantee the room type you want!

While staying on property (and even when my family isn’t), I love taking the opportunity to dine at the hotels with character dining. The Grand Californian has Storytellers Cafe, while the Disneyland Hotel has Goofy’s Kitchen. It’s a perfect way to meet so many characters all in one place! With a toddler of my own, waiting in line for characters at the parks can sometimes feel overwhelming. Character dining is my foolproof way of making sure he gets to interact with his favorites, like Mickey, Donald, and of course Goofy, while I sneak a veggie onto his plate here and there!

Alejandra, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I hope you have a wonderful stay on property and make so many magical memories on your upcoming visit. If you have any questions before then, planDisney is here to help!

With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
