Ahoy there, Sharen, welcome aboard planDisney!
Ah, the Rainforest Room on the
Disney Dream. The legendary heated lounge chairs, the invigorating aromatherapy showers, the views out the massive windows. I've been known to spend an inordinate amount of time there on a Disney Cruise Line vacation, at least I used to before our little sailor kept us busy following him around at
Nemo's Reef!
When it comes to booking your escape to the onboard paradise that is the Rainforest Room, that's an activity that is only available to book once you climb aboard. Passes are typically sold for the entire duration of your cruise, but depending on your particular sailing, you may be able to purchase a day pass or two! I'd definitely suggest heading straight to
Senses Spa & Salon on Deck 11 Forward the minute you arrive to have the best chance of securing some relaxation time! There's plenty of time for lunch after getting your spot squared away - priorities, right?
Oh, and one more planDrew-approved tip: sea days tend to be VERY busy in the Rainforest Room, so if you happen to be visiting a port you've been to before, there's nothing like staying aboard the ship, lounging about in the rainforest room, and enjoying a lighter crowd! It's also a great time to treat yourself to a movie at the
Buena Vista Theatre or a nice game of shuffleboard down on Deck 4!
I hope that clears the way for some smooth sailing for you, Sharen! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as you continue planning, please drop me another line here at planDisney!
Fair winds and following seas!
Andrew
