    Can you book a Premier Pass, a Multi Pass, and a Single Pass for the same day if you are park hopping w/ a valid ticket? For example with Premier Pass I could prioritize my morning for AK then go to MK later in the day with Multi pass and or a Single Pass?

    Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for racing by with your question.  Lauren, I am a huge fan of both the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and the Single Lightning Lane options, as both are a great way to maximize the magic of our day when visiting the parks.  Let me help break down the nuts and bolts of the Lightning Lane booking process when it comes to Park Hopping.

    Lauren, let's start our engines by talking about the differences between the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lightning Lane Single Pass, and the Lightning Lane Premier Pass.  

    • Lightning Lane Multi Pass - This pass can be purchased and your first three selections chosen beginning 7 days prior to your check-in date to your Walt Disney Resort Hotel or 3 days prior to your park day if you are not staying on Disney property. These passes allow you to hold up to three Lightning Lane selections at a time, and you CAN use these passes in more than one park if you are Park Hopping.  You won't be able to make your first three selections before arrival in more than one park; however, once you enter your first park and tap into your first attraction, you can make additional selections in another park (if you have a valid Park Hopper ticket) as long as you are not holding more than three Lightning Lane Selections at one time.   Please note that in three of the parks, there are two tiers of attractions. You can reserve up to one Lightning Lane attraction in Tier 1 and two Lightning Lane attractions in Tier 2 (or all three in Tier 2.) When you tap into an attraction, you can select a new one, but you can only have a maximum of three attractions reserved at a time and the same Tier group rules apply. 
    • Lightning Lane Single Pass - These passes are purchased for specific attractions in each park and they can be purchased IN ADDITION to a Multi Pass or on their own.  Just like the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can purchase these beginning 7 days in advance of check-in to your Disney Resort Hotel or beginning 3 days in advance of your park day if you are not staying onsite. If you are Park Hopping you can purchase a Single Pass for a ride in one park and also purchase another Single Pass for another ride in another park, if you have a Park Hopper ticket.  But these purchases are for one time Lightning Lane access for these specific attractions per day. They are separate from the attractions included in the Lightning Lane Multi Pass attractions. You can, for example, purchase a Single Lane pass for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT and Tron Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom on the same day if you are Park Hopping for each Guest in your party. But you can't purchase a Single Pass for the same person to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind twice in the same day. 
    • Lightning Lane Premier Pass - This pass can only be purchased for one theme park per day. It does not work for Park Hopping. If you purchase a Premier Pass, it gives you one-time access per day per Premier Pass to every attraction with a Lightning Lane, including both Multi Pass attractions and Single Lane attractions. However, you can only purchase it for one park per day, and it does not transfer over to another park if you have a Park Hopper
