Based on your arrival date and your previously asked question, I’m going to assume that you’re sailing on board the
Disney Dream out of
Port Everglades. First of all, from one Disney-loving wife to another, I’d like to congratulate you on an excellent job well done when convincing your husband to take that Disney Dream cruise!
You're both going to love the Disney Dream! There's so much to do for both adults and families. In fact, it's the only vacation where my husband and I feel like we're on vacation too, and aren't just tour guides for our vacationing kids! Now, let's chat about how to get you there!
I contacted Disney Cruise Line to inquire about Ground Transportation options, as they could change, and was informed that
Ground Transportation by Disney Cruise Line to Port Everglades can be purchased only by
hotel guests of Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa and guests of Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina. While transportation is available from Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel, guests should call the Concierge Desk at the hotel to book their transportation to the port, as it is the hotel’s own private shuttle. If you’re not a hotel guest at any of these three hotels, you won’t be able to book Ground Transportation from them.
However, you do have the option to book Ground Transportation from Fort-Hollywood International Airport. The current 2026 price is $29 per guest, per way, but please note that prices are always subject to change, with 2027 cruise guests currently being put on a Ground Transportation Waitlist until those reservations begin. The Cast Member informed me that they will begin adding 2027 Ground Transportation for guests from the waitlist very soon.
If you would like to book Ground Transportation from the airport, what would happen is that on the morning you embark on your cruise, you would need to provide your own transportation from the hotel you’re staying at to the airport. This is where you will meet your Disney Cruise Line Ground Transfer to Port Everglades. If you’d like to book Ground Transportation from the airport to Port Everglades, please contact Disney Cruise Line, and they would be happy to start that process for you.
