Hello and Welcome to planDisney, Courtney!
September is such a great time to plan a day to spend at
Disney's Blizzard Beach because the temperature is still super hot during the day! Adding a
polar patio to your day is just going to make it even that much more fun. To book a polar patio you'll need to call 407-WDW-PLAY. Phone lines open up each morning around 7:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time. If you are having trouble getting ahold of someone, I suggest calling early in the morning. Right now, the call centers are experiencing a higher-than-normal call volume which is leading to longer wait times. When I've had to call the play phone number, I like to be on the phone and calling to enter the queue about 5 minutes prior to the call center's opening time. I feel like by doing this I've had to wait very minimally compared to some.
The polar patios are a lot of fun. With your rental you'll also receive towels to use for the day, a cushioned seating area, a locker to store all of your valuables in, refillable drink mugs to use at the soda stations and complimentary ice water available all day. You'll also have a dedicated Cast Member to answer any questions you might have about Blizzard Beach and to take your food and beverage orders. Please do be aware that food and beverage are an additional cost and are not included with the polar patios.
If you aren't able to get through to speak to a Cast Member to reserve the polar patios, sometimes same-day rentals are available. These are on a first-come, first-serve basis. If any polar patios are available for the day, you can inquire about renting them at the Beach Haus when you get there.
Disney's Blizzard Beach is such a fun way to spend the day, Courtney. If you are at all competitive, I encourage you to take your turn racing down the
Tobbagan Racers. That's my favorite thing to do at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. That and well, enjoying the classic water park treat - mini doughnuts!
I hope this helps, Courtney! If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to come back and
ask me. I'm happy to help. Have fun!
