We had to book a placeholder at guest services so that someone could use a credit card not associated with the on board account. We did this Thursday night. How long before I should expect and email or call? Do weekend days count?

Hello there, Misty and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for visiting us after disembarking from your Disney Cruise! It sounds like a good time if you decided to book another future voyage while on the ship. I'm so excited to hear that you'll be saying "see ya real soon!" to Captains Mickey and Minnie.

Most guests find that they are contacted by the Disney Cruise Line via email between 24-72 hours after leaving the ship about the placeholder cruise that they booked while onboard. If you have not yet received an email, you can email or call Disney Cruise Line with your inquiry. I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes that you have heard from them by now. With the latest itineraries being released, I'm sure you are excited to turn that placeholder cruise booking into a reservation on a beautiful itinerary. More magical memories await!

I'm not sure about which itineraries you have experienced with the Disney Cruise Line, but I love to recommend the special holiday sailings onboard. My personal favorite is sailing on a Halloween on the High Seas cruise with my family. We love to get dressed up and trick-or-treat around the ship and enjoy all of the fun activities that are scheduled to celebrate the spookiest time of year. For this coming fall, Disney Cruise Line just announced that Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabelle Cow will be joining together to dress as the Sanderson Sisters from the fan-favorite Hocus Pocus for the Halloween cruises this year. That sounds like such a treat!

And if you decide to sail at another time of year, you can still find treats that surprise and delight year-round onboard. The planDisney panel just released this fun trick-or-treat guide that can be used any time of year.

I hope your upcoming cruise plans are well underway. Please visit us at planDisney again if you have any further questions. We are always here and happy to help our fellow guests.

    Happy Planning,

    Adrianna
