How to book and pay for one room shared by two guests, one coming from UK one from USA

    Welcome to planDisney, Kate!

Ooh...I love a great friend meetup in Walt Disney World--especially when it includes friends from afar!

When I plan a friend trip, we determine which of us will make the reservation; that person will add the other guest when booking. If the second guest has a My Disney Experience account, be sure to include their full name and email address used with that account. This way, both parties will be able to see all of the fun that's planned in their MDE accounts, both online and in the My Disney Experience App.

Regarding additional payments, we usually have one person handle those and the other reimburses them. However, you can call to make the next payment using a different credit card; just use the contact information you receive on your reservation confirmation.

A great feature of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is the ability to charge everything from meals to souvenirs to yes, those beloved Mickey Ears. My favorite way to keep charges separate is for each of us to use our MagicBand+ while touring. With a credit card linked to your MDE account, there's no fumbling for a credit card stuck in a tight pouch, no worrying if you remembered to bring the correct card to a park. Hands free payments all day long! Just stop by the front desk to ensure that each credit card is linked to the appropriate MagicBand+ and your stay will be even smoother.

Have so much fun planning your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World, Kate! As you think of additional questions, please send them our way. We love to help!
