How do I book the parks

    Hiya Sarah!

Welcome to planDisney! It's such an exciting time to visit the Parks. While I loved the 50th Anniversary celebration at Walt Disney World I have found that there are so many new things happening that I am ready to go back again! TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise is finally open and it sure looks exhilarating.  Also, my favorite 50th Anniversary snack item looks like it's staying! The Tropical Serenade at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom Park is delicious and a wonderful treat on a hot day!

There are two different answers I can give you as I do not know when you are arriving at the Parks. If you are visiting between now and January 9, 2024, you will have to visit the Theme Park Reservations page and select the date you wish to visit. You must have a valid admission in place however before you can do this.

If your visit is after January 9, 2024, then I have some great news! If you have a date-based ticket or a vacation package with a date-based ticket then you do not need to make Park Reservations! Many of the tickets purchased in the last few years by Guests are date-based tickets so if you planned ahead for next year you may be good to go!

I hope this helps and you can visit the Parks soon. If you have any questions feel free to let me know!

    Happy Planning!

Meet the Panelist: Nimmy, New York

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
