Hello again Elliott, and thanks for returning to planDisney with another great question for us to help you with!
Almost each and every time my family has visited Walt Disney World Resort over the yEARs, we generally have had the use of a rental vehicle so we can enjoy exploring Orlando,
The City Beautiful.
Elliott, it might be useful for you to know that Walt Disney World Resort benefits from its own on-site
Car Care Center (located near to the Magic Kingdom Park) which includes the convenience of a
Car Rental location too! I'm more than happy to share that in my own experience, it really is super easy to use all the many services provided in this handy location such as the Speedway fuel station, repair services, and if needed, roadside assistance too.
You won't find parking at Walt Disney World Resort to be difficult at all as there are plenty of parking spaces in the vast, super-sized parking lots! And, each
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Disney Theme Park, Disney Water Park, and Disney Springs has their own specific parking lot.
Self-parking is allocated on a daily, first-come, first-served basis and at the Disney Theme Parks, is paid for at the time of entering the parking lot. Additionally,
Guests who are staying within a Disney Resorts Collection hotel will at present receive complimentary self-parking at the Disney Theme Parks!
I'm also pleased to say that currently,
all Guests receive
complimentary self-parking at Disney Springs and at both
Disney Water Parks!
Elliott, I thought that you may find these
Frequently Asked Questions - Parking at Walt Disney World Resort to be a really useful planning resource for your jolly holiday to the most magical place on earth.
My top planDisney parking tip is to be sure to snap a quick photo on your mobile phone of the parking location of your rental car. Disney parking lots do have clearly marked and numbered lanes/bays, but of course, it's very easy to forget which one you're parked in after a busy Disney day!
Please do drop back anytime to
me at planDisney if you should have any further enquiries about visiting Walt Disney World Resort. I'm always extra happy to hEAR from a fellow Brit!
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
