Hi there, Florencia! Thank you for bringing this great question to us at planDisney!
To me, the only thing better than visiting
The Most Magical Place on Earth is visiting with people you care about. Like my pal Olaf says, "Some people are worth melting for!" Here's a little secret: magic multiplies when it's shared with friends, and you're surely in for an extra special trip. I'd love to help you and your Guests make the most of your upcoming vacation!
Florencia, I understand you want to make sure that you can make plans, including
Disney Genie+ selections, with the friends that will be visiting at the same time as you. You're right – you absolutely will want to purchase your
theme park tickets (and book your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, if you'd like to make it a
vacation package) for yourself, your husband, and your children first. Then, be sure that you make your
theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass system, which is an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit for each day of your trip.
You'll also want to add your friends to your
Family & Friends List. To do this, log into your account online, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, then click My Family & Friends. If your friends aren't currently listed, you'll want to scroll to the bottom of this page and click "Add a Guest." While there are several ways to add a Guest, I've had the best experience when selecting "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation." Once your friends accept the invitation on their end, you'll be connected through your Family & Friends List – even on your
My Disney Experience app. This will allow you to make reservations together, including
dining, Disney Genie+ service, and more!
I'm wishing upon a star that your upcoming trip is practically perfect in every way, Florencia! If you have any other questions, please visit us again.
You've got a friend in me!
Michelle
