If I book a park pass, can I upgrade to parkhopper later?

    Hi Joelle, welcome to planDisney!

I’m so glad you’re planning your visit to Walt Disney World Resort later this year. Theme Park reservations are subject to availability and the sooner you book them the better.

If you would like to add a Park Hopper Option to your theme park ticket before you use it, you can do this through your My Disney Experience account by logging in, scrolling to “My Plans,” and selecting “Tickets, Passes and Memory Maker.” Find the ticket you’d like to modify and click “Change Ticket.” If you’d like assistance from a Cast Member, you can call the number listed under “Existing Tickets” or visit Guest Relations at any of the four theme parks or Disney Springs. If you’d like to add a Park Hopper Option after you have activated your ticket, you will need to visit a Guest Relations window to modify your ticket.

There's also the Park Hopper Plus Option which gives you a number of visits to the water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, and miniature golf courses.

I hope this was helpful, Joelle. Keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog for any upcoming announcements regarding the holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any future planning questions, come see me again at planDisney!
