    I am about to book a 14 park hopper ticket. Can I add genie plus now for individual days? Or is it just for the full 14 days, until 8th June?? Thanks

    Hi Lucy! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

    You have picked one of the best times of the year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Fall is right around the corner and celebrations will begin for the Halloween season. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is returning this year and parties will be held on select nights from August 12th through October 31st. This event requires a special event ticket which needs to be purchased separately from your multi-day Magic Tickets.

    Speaking of your ticket purchase, Walt Disney World is changing the way you add on Disney Genie+ for your park days. Starting on June 8th, all Guests will need to purchase Genie+ each day that they wish to use it. This has always been the case for Guests that wanted to purchase Genie+ on individual days. When purchasing the service before your visit, it was required to be for the full length of your tickets.

    As of today, the Walt Disney Travel Company website is not allowing Guests to add Genie+ to their park tickets for any dates. If you are booking your package online, you will not see this as an option. Since we are still a few days away from June 8th, I would recommend calling the Walt Disney World Resort and speaking to a Cast Member. They will be able to clarify if you can still purchase Genie+ for a future trip before this date.

    If you are unable to add it on, here are some steps to purchase the service during your trip in September.

    1. Download the My Disney Experience App to your mobile device.
    2. On each park day you want to add on Genie+, you'll need to purchase it using the app.
    3. Tap on the three horizontal bars on the bottom right of your screen, followed by "My Genie Day".
    4. Select the purple bar that reads "Get Disney Genie+ For Today". Follow the prompts from here to complete the purchase. (You can add this at any time of the day, starting at midnight the day of.)
    5. Once purchased, you can make your first Disney Genie+ selection starting at 7 AM EST.
