Welcome to planDisney, Kathy! Parasailing at Castaway Cay is spectacular, and I am glad adults in your traveling party want to see the island from this amazing viewpoint. It is very popular and books quickly, so make sure you are ready to reserve your spots when your
Cruise Activities booking window opens.
In the "Know Before You Go" section for
parasailing, Disney states "All Guests must have a paying ticket and no ride-along Guests are permitted on the boat." When I went parasailing, I begged my less adventurous family members to come along. Fear of heights kept their feet on the ground. They, however, were not left out of the fun. I texted them from the small boat when I was about to go up, right when the crew told me I was going to be next. My family was on the pool deck of the
Disney Fantasy and captured the video of me in the distance. Even though they could not ride along, they were part of the adventure.
There is so much you can do at
Castaway Cay with a large family. My last time on the island was the first time I rented a bike. Then I wondered why I had not done so before. Riding along the airplane runway and the bike path was fun, with people of different ages all moving at their own pace and exploring the island.
Enjoy your day at Castaway Cay and living on island time!
Cheers,
Jana
