Hi Natalie, welcome to planDisney!
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is an excellent choice! Just a quick note though, the pools are currently going through scheduled maintenance, so Guests will be able to access the pools at the
Disneyland Hotel instead!
But on to your question! The cancelation policy is dependent on how you book your reservation. If you book a room-only reservation, you will be required to put down a deposit at the time of booking. If you wish to cancel your reservation, you must cancel at least five days before your arrival date for a full refund. If you cancel less than five days before your arrival date, there will be a cancelation fee of the first night's room rate plus taxes and fees. And,
theme park ticket purchases are nonrefundable and nontransferable per Disney's
eTicket Terms & Conditions.
However, if you decide to purchase one of the
Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages, the cancelation policy is a bit different. The vacation packages allow Guests to bundle their
Disneyland Resort Hotel and theme park tickets into one convenient package. For cancelations made 30 days or more before your arrival date, the amount you paid (minus cancelation fees assessed by third-party hotels or other suppliers, non-refundable travel protection plan costs, and other amounts owed) will be refunded. For cancelations made five to 29 days before your arrival, the amount you paid minus a cancelation fee of $200 (prices subject to change) and minus cancelation fees assessed by third party hotels or other suppliers, non-refundable travel protection plan costs, and other amounts owed, will be refunded. And finally, if you cancel four days or less before your arrival, the full price of the vacation package is non-refundable.
I know that was a lot of information to digest, so if you have any follow-up questions, please do visit us again!
See ya real soon!
