Ahoy Kathryn,
Thanks for coming to planDisney with your question. I am happy to help you with
how to book a reservation for Palo!
Booking an
adult dining experience on a Disney Cruise Line ship is such a great idea. My husband and I have dined at these locations many times on our sailings and find them to be elegant and delicious. We do particularly enjoy
Palo on the
Disney Dream. It features Italian cuisine in a lovely environment. We love brunch at this location, but dinner is wonderful as well!
When you can make these reservations depends on how many times you have cruised with Disney Cruise Line before. The
window for booking activities ahead of your cruise, including adult dining, will open at different times for different guests. For example, Silver Castaway Club members, those who have completed between one and four sailings with
Disney Cruise Line, can book this reservation 90 days prior to sail date. Check out the link that I provided, and determine which of the categories you fall into. That will determine when you can make this reservation.
The link that I provided for the booking window does include directions on how to book these reservations. If you are working through the website, you need to log into your Disney Cruise Line account and select the cruise for which you wish to book activities. When you are there, click on "My Plans." This should bring up a daily list of your plans. For the day that you wish to book adult dining, click "Add Activities" and then "Dining," and you should be able to book your dining there assuming that there is availability.
You can also follow the same steps using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App if you have this installed on your phone. Select the sailing for which you wish to make a reservation, click on "My Plans," and then "Add Activities" for the day on which you wish to make the reservation.
Kathryn, if you find that you are unable to make this reservation ahead of time, which does sometimes happen as this is a very popular dining location, you can also check if there is any availability once you are onboard. I suggest that you do this immediately upon embarkation as that would give you the best possible chance to obtain a reservation.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kathryn. Please do sail on back to planDisney if you have any further questions!
