If you book a package (Room, Parks, Food etc.).What is the cancellation policy?

    Hi, Russell!

To book a Walt Disney World package, you will need to place a $200 deposit.  The balance is due 45 days prior to your vacation.  Once you are within 44 days of your vacation, there is a $200 cancellation fee.  Other fees may apply if you purchased airfare, insurance, etc.  You will want to check with your travel agent or reservationist at (407)W-DISNEY for the cancellation policy for your particular package BEFORE you book.

Other rules may apply if you are booking through a travel agent or online service such at Travelocity, Expedia, or any other travel company.  As with any vacation, make sure you fully understand any booking fees, cancellation fees, or additional charges.

Once you have booked your vacation, make sure you are mailed or e-mailed a copy of your reservation so you have everything in writing.  I like to have all the details in order, double checking policies so there are never any surprises.

I hope you get to plan a wonderful vacation WITHOUT having to cancel it!   Have fun.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
