    If I book a package with the Free Dining offer for the current dates (July 5-Sep 30) am I able to postpone/delay our trip to a later date if Nov-Dec dates are announced at a later time? For instance: Change a Sept. trip to a Dec. trip if the offer extends?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for visiting us!

    The answer to your question is… it depends. If the dates for the Delicious Deal (“Free Dining”) or any other Special Offer are extended and you’d prefer to move your Walt Disney World Resort reservation to another date, you might be able to do so. As with any promotion or other offer, your ability to modify your reservation and change your dates will depend on availability, as well as the cancellation policy associated with your initial reservation. You might not be able to move your September reservation “automagically” to the same Walt Disney World Resort hotel or even room type as neither may be available during the new dates you’d prefer. 

    Because the number of available rooms is often rather limited for these kinds of promotions, if the date is extended, then I strongly recommend that you contact Walt Disney World Resort as soon as possible the moment an extension or new Special Offer is announced (if, in fact, there is one).
