Hi Sarah,
Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited to hEAR that you are considering planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Yes, when you book a
vacation package and make the down payment, you are able to start in-depth planning, including making
Disney Park Pass system reservations. If you have not yet booked a vacation package, check the
Special Offers to see if there are any offers applicable to the dates of your visit. If there are, when you search for vacation packages, those offers should appear in your search.
Once you book a vacation package, you will need to link that package in your
My Disney Experience account. To do so, log into your My Disney Experience account, then click on My Plans. From there, click on Add More Plans, and
Link Reservations and Purchases. Once that vacation package is linked, you can start making park pass reservations and on the day your
advanced dining reservation window opens, the reservation system will allow you to make reservations for the entire length of your stay (up to 10 days).
Advanced dining reservations are a must-do for my family. Even if you like to eat on the go, I recommend that you make some dining reservations because it can be almost impossible to get
Walk-up Dine Availability while in the theme parks.
Sarah, I hope this helps! Book that vacation package as soon as possible, then make Disney Park Pass system and advanced dining reservations. Mickey and Minnie Mouse and the gang are looking forward to your arrival!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
