We would like to book a package for DIsney in October. Previously, we stayed at the Contemporary. We enjoyed the convenience of the hotel and the price point. Would you recomend another resort with a similar price point and luxury level?

    Hi Charlene!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

If you loved the convenient location of Disney's Contemporary Resort, you may like to consider Disney's Polynesian Resort.  This is also on the Magic Kingdom monorail link, and also has bus and boat transportation options.  The Polynesian is a very beautiful resort with a good selection of dining options, and the added feature of being able to watch Wishes fireworks from the beach.

I also love staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, which is a short boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom park, (although not situated on the monorail link).  However, it is a wonderful resort, with a stunning lobby, and wonderful gardens, pool area, and views over Bay Lake.  There are also a good choice of restaurants, and this is definitely somewhere the whole family would enjoy.

Other Deluxe Resort favourites of mine are Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort, and these are both very conveniently located near to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Boardwalk area - all are a short boat ride away, or within walking distance.

If you have any other questions that would help you make your decision, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
