I want to book a package but cannot see an option to pay a deposit instead of the full amount

    Hi Jade!

Welcome to planDisney!  Thanks for stopping by to be part of our world here at planDisney as you start planning for an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort!  Whether it's your first trip or your fiftieth, it's always an exciting feeling to be planning that next vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Jade, I was able to find some additional
details about payment plans on the Walt Disney World Resort website which may be helpful.  When booking a package from the UK the deposit amount and full payment due date can vary based on a few factors.  If you're attempting to book a package that also includes flights, final payment is due 100 days before your departure and any reservations made within 100 days of travel require full payment at the time of booking.  This is likely why you are unable to see an option to pay a deposit and are instead being prompted to pay the full amount.  Packages that include only hotel and tickets require payment in full 8 weeks before your arrival.  If you would like assistance with making your reservation, you can always call the Disney Experts at the Walt Disney Travel Company.

If you haven't yet made a final decision on which hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection you want to call "home" during your stay, I'm happy to share a few recommendations!  As a mom of three, I often prioritize proximity to the parks and have loved previous stays at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  There is nothing quite as convenient as the quick walk to Magic Kingdom Park and the monorail ride to EPCOT.  You'll also find delicious dining options here and a nightly view of the fireworks from Magic Kingdom Park around the property.  I'd also suggest taking a look at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort or Disney's Pop Century Resort which are two of my favorites that happen to have access to the amazing Disney Skyliner.  With the Skyliner, you can easily glide through the sky to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  My kids often forget that it's a mode of transportation and tell me it's one of their favorite rides at Walt Disney World Resort!  No matter where you choose to stay in the Disney Resorts Collection, you'll have access to a number of great benefits during your stay!

Jade, I hope this information is helpful as you finalize your plans!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again at planDisney!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
