If I book a one-night stay at a Disney Resort, do I have to check in to the hotel first to get the free parking and early access entry for Disney Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios on two different days?

    Welcome to planDisney, Tessa!

Thanks for stopping by with a question about staying at a Disney Resort, I'm happy to assist. When staying at a Disney Resort, Guests can take advantage of great perks such as complimentary resort and theme park standard self-parking and the Water Park Benefit. My family loves staying close to the parks, it makes early mornings and late nights much more manageable!

I have great news for you, Tessa - you can use Direct-to-Room Service in the My Disney Experience App or on the website and check in even before you leave home. This allows you to skip the front desk upon arrival and start your vacation even sooner! Once you've completed the Online Check-in, you can head straight to your room once you get the notification it is ready. All Disney-operated resorts offer this option, and it's super convenient! Just have your resort confirmation number, the names of everyone on your reservation, and a credit card handy for any incidentals. If you have a specific room request like a certain area or view, you can add that during the check-in process.

Once you've completed the Online Check-In, you're ready to go! You'll be able to access the Disney Resort Guest perks simply by scanning a MagicBand or MagicMobile Pass (you can set this up in the My Disney Experience App). It's a great way to jump right into the magic.

Your perks start on the day you check in and last through midnight on the day you check out. That means you'll be able to enjoy early theme park entry at both Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios during your stay. Since you're visiting in 2025, don't forget about the Water Park Benefit - just scan your MagicBand, MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World Card at the gate of either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach for a splash-filled start to your adventure!

I hope this helps make your trip planning a little easier. If you have any more questions, please reach out - I'd be delighted to help!

    Happy planning,
    Candace
