If I book one night at Paradise Pier for May 5 would I be able to get a reservation for DCA for that day?

    Hey, howdy, hey, Barbara!

What a great opportunity to travel from coast to coast to visit Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom! I’m excited for you to experience the magic of a visit to the Disneyland Resort.

As you are aware, all Guests who wish to visit Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park will need both a theme park ticket (or a Magic Key) and a theme park reservation. Most theme park ticket holders may book park reservations based on what is shown on the theme park reservation availability calendar. Magic Key holders may check the Magic Key Access Calendar for available park reservations.

Guests of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels may make park reservations from inventory that is available exclusively to on-site hotel Guests. To access that pool of available reservations, make sure both your theme park tickets and your hotel reservation are linked in the same Disneyland Resort account. Visit the "My Theme Park Reservations" and click on the “Retrieve Hotel Reservation” link to ensure you are linking with the correct set of reservations for you as a Disneyland Resort Hotel Guest.

My family and I took advantage of this perk for on-site hotel Guests when we visited the Disneyland Resort over New Year's Eve. That was a perfect opportunity to enjoy celebrating the new year in The Happiest Place on Earth all weekend long! And it was very reassuring knowing we wouldn’t need to stress as much over whether we could get theme park reservations. Note that the pool of reservations for hotel Guests is also limited. So it is still a good idea to book your hotel reservations and park reservations as soon as you can.

    Have a magical time, Barbara!
