    I want to book an Oct 2012 vacation soon. It looks like in the past Free Dining isn't offered until July or Aug. Does anyone know if I will have to cancel and rebook to get the special? Just wondering...Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!!

    Hi Katherine!  Right now Disney is only showing a limited amount of Free Dining from January 8 through March 29.  The deadline for those dates has passed as well. Nothing has been published for any further Free Dining options for the summer or fall but keep checking the website, www.disneyworld.com, as these great offers can come up at any time.

    Keep your current reservation and don't wait for a special offer or you might be disappointed and not able to get the resort of your choice. If you see an offer develop please call the reservation number and let them help you change it, if possible, to make the best vacation plan for you and your family.

    An October Disney vacation is a great time to enjoy the parks. The weather is starting to cool down and the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is in full swing with great tastes from around the world just waiting to be sampled.  Extra entertainment is also nightly in EPCOT.  You can also experience the wonderful Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party held on various nights in the Magic Kingdom. This is one of my favorite extra parties held in my favorite park!
