Hey there, hi there, Mirzeli! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by planDisney with your resort stay question!
It's so exciting to hear you are in the beginning stages of planning a Disneyland Resort trip for next spring. I've been fortunate to stay at both the Disneyland Hotel and the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa numerous times, and I always look forward to my next stay. There's an extra layer of magic when you can open the balcony door or look out the window to a view of California Adventure,
Downtown Disney District, or even one of the pool areas. I love the idea of doing a split stay between two
Disneyland Resort Hotels. While you can select different types of room views, there is no guarantee of what exactly you will see from your room. There is no room type for park views at Disneyland Hotel; however, there's a chance you could get a lovely pool or Downtown Disney District view. It is possible to get a view of California Adventure by booking a Partial View room at the Grand Californian, but it is not guaranteed. When it gets closer to your arrival, you can call and make room requests, but this is subject to availability and not guaranteed.
The most exciting perk for me of staying at Disneyland Resort Hotels is that you are always in the magic. When I'm staying at the Grand Californian, I make sure I have a California Adventure Park day scheduled so I can take advantage of the hotel entrance into the park. In 2026, a stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel will also get each Guest on your reservation one complimentary Lightning Lane entry to a
Lightning Lane attraction.
Mirzeli, thanks so much for stopping by! As your plans start to come together, we will be here for any other questions you might have.
