When you book a new reservation and u get your new bands in the mail do they already come with the fingerprint on it from last band? Didn't know if that crossed over or when u enter the park is that when the fingerprint sets with the new band

    Howdy Bridget!

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and what a great question! It is my understanding that the MagicBands don't retain the fingerprints for more than the current theme park admission. So, if you use a 5-day pass, your fingerprint will only stay linked to that ticket (and accessible with your MagicBand) until that ticket is expired. Therefore, to answer your question, if it is a new reservation, and you will be using a new ticket, you will need to reset your fingerprint. Please be aware that the MagicBands are linked to each individual Guest and even without a fingerprint, will not be transferable.

Thank you again for your question, Bridget. Have a delightful trip and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,
