Hello! I want to book the Nassau Aquaventure package to go to the water park. What time do they typically leave the ship to get there?

Ahoy there, Kendall! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited that you're planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation on a Bahamian Itinerary! I always say these shorter itineraries are a great way to catch the Disney Cruise Line itch, and before you know it, you'll be racking up those Castway Club sailings on your way to Platinum status!

But I'm getting a little ahead of myself, you're looking for info on one of the most popular Port Adventures around the Bahamas: Atlantis Aquaventure! As one of the most recognizable parts of Nassau! From the underground aquarium of "The Dig" to the thrills of Aquaventure, and everything in between, this is a great way to spend a day on the island!

The start time for this Port Adventure - and really all Port Adventures - depends largely on what Guests' Ashore time is for that specific sailing! For example, on my family's upcoming Bahamian itinerary on the Disney Wish, we're scheduled to be able to go ashore at 9:30 a.m., which is great because it gives us plenty of time to catch breakfast at Marceline Market before running out to experience Nassau with our son for his first stop there ever! I checked what time the Aquaventure start time is, and found it to be 9:45 a.m.!

Now this time is always subject to change, so keep an eye on your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board! Also, you can typically expect your Port Adventure's meeting time to be about 30 minutes before your scheduled start time, so be sure to keep a weather eye out for the tickets that will be delivered to your stateroom for a meeting location! I definitely also suggest eating plenty for breakfast since by the time the transportation to the Atlantis resort is done and you walk to find the perfect spot, you'll be getting close to lunch!

I hope you and your crew have an incredible time, Kendall! You'll have to come back and let me know what you all think of those waterslides! Personally, I still think the AquaDunk on the Disney Magic takes the prize for the craziest waterslide anywhere near the fleet!

Thank you so much for sailing my way with your question, Kendall! If you have any other questions as your sailing gets closer, please drop me another message in a bottle here at planDisney! We pick a batch of them up every day (we have quite the bottle collection going here as a result...) and will be happy to help however we can!

Until then, may your anchor be tight and your compass true!
