Hello, Richard. Welcome to the wonderful world of planDisney. In the spirit of that classic television series,
The Wonderful World of Disney, cue the music, because today’s episode is all about booking multiple rooms!
To book multiple rooms, each one must be completed as a separate transaction. You’ll go through the booking process for one room, finish that reservation, and then repeat the process for the next room. The good news is that
the website makes it pretty seamless, so you should be able to secure all your rooms quickly.
When booking multiple rooms, be sure to select one adult as the lead Guest for each reservation. That person will be listed first on the reservation, even if you’re paying for some or all of the vacation. You can use your credit card for rooms you’re not staying in, but you’ll only enter your billing information during checkout. Just make sure the mailing address and all other details for the first Guest match
that Guest’s personal information.
Now, if you’d like one of these rooms to be adjoining and/or all of them to be near each other, you can
call a friendly Cast Member at the resort after you make the reservations. After all, there's a whole team backstage making sure everything runs smoothly. They will happily make a note on your reservations. Just make sure to have all the details, including the reservations numbers. I typically suggest doing this right after making the reservations and then again a week or two before your arrival date. Just note that while Cast Members will do their best to accommodate this request, it is not guaranteed. No matter what, though, there are plenty of spaces to meet up, hang out, and discuss plans. My favorite places? The lobbies or
lounging by the pool, with a heavy emphasis on lounging by the pool, especially as I type this answer while snow falls outside my window here in New Jersey! Ah, to be at
Stormalong Bay at
Disney's Beach Club Resort right now. I can dream, can't I?
Richard, best wishes as you plan an amazing holiday getaway. Be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog, as they usually start revealing
holiday offerings during Halfway to the Holidays, which typically takes place in June. Just like those Sunday night specials, there’s always something new on the horizon. In the meantime, feel free to
reach out with any other questions you may have!
Until the next chapter of your story,
Matt
