Hi Diego, welcome back to planDisney!
Air travel is Tinkerbell's favorite way to travel to and around Walt Disney World Resort. You can catch her in flight most nights during
Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park. I hope you experience similarly pixie-dusted travel to Orlando International Airport in September.
At this time, the recently resumed Minnie Van service can only be used for transportation in and around Walt Disney World Resort. It is especially ideal for resort-to-resort transport. My family recently took a Minnie Van from Disney's Riviera Resort to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for a dinner reservation and were impressed by the high level of service. The drivers are specially-trained Cast Members, who are truly the heart of
The World's Most Magical Celebration. Minnie Van rides are booked via the Lyft app. They cannot be booked in advance and are subject to availability, which just means you might have to wait a little bit longer for the next available driver.
Options for traveling from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel include Mears Transportation, Sunshine Flyer, and various rideshare services. Mears Transportation offers a similar experience to Disney's Magical Express, which is no longer offered. My family was pleased with our Sunshine Flyer experience last week. We booked in advance and ended up having a whole bus to ourselves! I've also used rideshare services to travel from the airport to my Disney Resort hotel. I'd personally be hesitant to prebook a rideshare vehicle from the airport in case of unexpected delays. The timing usually works out for me to book my ride when I'm waiting for my luggage at baggage claim. I always prebook a rideshare vehicle back to the airport.
Once you've arrived at Walt Disney World Resort, you will be amazed at the variety of
complimentary transportation options at your disposal. You can travel by land (bus), air (Disney Skyliner), or sea (water taxis). Disney Imagineers are still working on harnessing the power of pixie dust.
Please fly back to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
