    How to book mine train

Welcome to planDisney, Denise! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. Great choice! Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a blast, and to lock it in with the shortest waits, you'll want a Lightning Lane Single Pass, which is an individual, à-la-carte purchase separate from Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

Here's the scoop: if you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can buy a Single Pass for Mine Train seven days before your check-in date, starting at 7:00 AM Eastern Time in the My Disney Experience app. If you're staying off-site, your purchase window opens three days before the start date of your ticket, also at 7:00 AM Eastern. In both cases, you'll choose the day you'll be at Magic Kingdom, pick an available return time, and complete the purchase right in the app.

I have a few friendly tips to make the morning of your Lightning Lane booking go smoothly! Make sure to have a saved payment method in your My Disney Experience app for speed. Be ready right at 7:00 AM because Mine Train return times can go quickly. Keep refreshing for a few minutes if you don't see your ideal time, because new times can pop up as people make choices and solidify their decisions. You can still ride via standby if you'd rather skip the purchase, but it is one of the more popular attractions at Magic Kingdom, so wait times can get high at peak times. If you want to ride standby, I recommend trying to rope drop first thing in the morning or try again during the late evening for the lowest standby wait times.

I hope this answers your question, Denise, so please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
