    Hello, I want to book Mickey's Backyard BBQ but they are all sold out of Cat. 1 on the dates I have selected. Besides the extra perks, would I lose out on anything else booking a Cat. 2. My son is 7 and I want him to be able to enjoy the entire show.

    We are happier than a pig in a mud puddle to hear from you here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for moseying on over and asking us your Disney dining question. Yee-haw!

    I took my little cowpokes to Mickey's Backyard BBQ not too long ago and they had a rootin'- tootin' good time. Although it would have been nice to have extra time for pictures with our favorite Disney pals, even with Category 2 seating our seats were still great and my kiddos had plenty of opportunities for extra fun. Throughout the show they encouraged the children to get up and dance with the characters or move up by the stage to see better. Plus, we were closer to the buffet if you're looking for second helpings later on.
