Hello Jane,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your Disney Vacation Club
Member benefits question here today, I’m happy to take a look.
It looks like your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner; you’ll be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth in no time! I love the perks and benefits
Disney Vacation Club Members can experience and this summer, DVC has some magic planned. This summer, eligible Members will see the first-ever
DVC Welcome Home Weeks where they can participate in special events, snack on yummy treats and partake in exciting experiences from July 22 through August 24.
Jane, I spoke with
Member Services and they confirmed that the DVC Welcome Home Weeks Celebration events do not require registration. Looking at your dates, you'll be there for Character Close-ups at
Disney's Contemporary Resort (Ballroom Fantasia J) and can meet characters from
Frozen (July 22, 23, 29, 30, August 12 and 13, 2024); Sweet Stop where you can get a complimentary Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar, ice cream sandwich or fruit bar (
Disney's Hollywood Studios in the Tower of Terror Courtyard Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM starting July 22, 2024 and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park by Upper Bradley Falls on Thursdays and Fridays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM starting July 25, 2024). Keep an eye on the Welcome Home Weeks website for details about the Ice Cream Parlor at the Disney Vacation Club Preview Center at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Oh, I can't forget about the 20% one-time-use discount on a mobile order! Check back on the Welcome Home Weeks website for more details as summer approaches.
When heading to any of these Welcome Home Weeks events, be sure to have your valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID handy as well as verify the website for eligibility details and the number of Guests allowed per experience. I'm excited to participate in a dusting of DVC Member Magic this summer on my Disney vacation, it's a nice way to connect with fellow DVC Members!
I hope this information helps with your vacation planning, Jane. Wishing you safe travels to Walt Disney World Resort this summer, please revisit
planDisney if you have any more questions!
Welcome Home,
Candace
