Hi! How do I book a Magic Kingdom Fireworks Cruise from the UK? We are staying off resort when we arrive. Thanks!

    Hello John,

Welcome to planDisney! It's great to hear you're planning to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The Enchanting Extras Collection offers many unique experiences to add that extra magic to your trip. One such experience is the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Cruise, which I've been eagerly anticipating myself.

To book a Magic Kingdom Fireworks Cruise from the UK, visit the official Walt Disney World UK Help Center to contact the Tours, Recreation line (0800 16 90 730). While this doesn't guarantee your ability to book this specific Enchanting Extra, at least you will know what is available before arriving in the States. Remember, Guests of a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can book these extras 60 days before check-in for the duration of their stay. In comparison, non-Disney Resort Guests can only book 60 days out from the date they are trying to secure a reservation, so making that phone call on the 60-day mark is extremely important. Some of my planDisney panelist friends from across the pond have also recommended contacting a US-based travel agent to help secure these types of experiences. Your other opportunity to secure this cruise will be when you touch down in the US via the My Disney Experience app.

If securing a spot on the Fireworks Cruise proves challenging, there are several other enchanting ways to enjoy the Happily Ever After fireworks:

    • California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort: Arrive early and sit at the bar before the show starts. This grants you access to the California Grill balcony, offering a breathtaking rooftop view of the fireworks. If sitting at the bar isn't your preference, you can head to the 4th-floor observation deck of the Contemporary Resort for another excellent vantage point.
    • Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa: Book a dining reservation here and request a window table that allows you to enjoy the fireworks with the accompanying music. If a window seat isn't available, step out to the restaurant's private dock for an unobstructed view.
    • Disney's Polynesian Village Resort beach: This is my favorite spot. I like to grab a DOLE Whip from Pineapple Lanai or a drink from Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace about 30-45 minutes before the show. Then, I settle into an Adirondack chair on the beach, with tiki torches lighting the scene, and watch the fireworks over Seven Seas Lagoon.

I hope this helps answer your question, John, and that you can book a lovely cruise. You know where to find me if you need anything else or would like more recommendations!
