Bright suns, James! I’m glad you navigated your X-Wing to planDisney. Our panelists are some of the most knowledgeable Disney vacation experts in the galaxy!

The Savi’s Workshop lightsaber building experience in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios is very popular, and you’re smart for wanting to make an advanced reservation. Currently, guests in the United Kingdom need to call the Tours & Recreation number to book this experience. A helpful Cast Member can let you know if any times are available during your stay and assist you with making a reservation. This process also applies to booking other Walt Disney World Enchanting Extras, such as the Droid Depot or Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

If you’re unable to get a reservation at Savi’s Workshop, don’t despair! There are other opportunities at Hollywood Studios to create a lightsaber to your specifications. Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities sells all the components to create a custom lightsaber, many of which are the same as those found in Savi’s Workshop. Tatooine Traders, located next to Star Tours, also sells customizable lightsabers, but these are more of the kid-friendly toy variety and not the same as those found on Batuu.

I hope you enjoy your holiday to a galaxy far, far away, James, and best of luck with your reservation quest. You can always pop back to planDisney if you have any more vacation planning questions. We're always happy to help a Jedi in need!

May the Force be with you (or “may the spires keep you” as the locals say on Batuu)!
