When I book lightning lanes 7 days in advance, am I able to do it for each day of my trip, or do I have to come back each day? Should I do single lighting lanes too or wait till day of trip?

Welcome back to planDisney, Stephanie! Thank you for reaching out with your question. How exciting that you’re preparing for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I’d be happy to help you understand how Lightning Lane selections work so you can make the most of your time in the parks and enjoy a smooth, magical visit.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can book Lightning Lane Passes selections up to seven days before your check-in date for your entire length of stay, up to fourteen days. You do not have to come back each morning to make new selections, as you can book all of your park days at once when your booking window opens.

If you are not staying at a Disney Resort, you can only book three days in advance, and you must make your selections day by day.

Stephanie, I hope this information helps you feel ready to make the most of your Lightning Lane selections and enjoy every magical moment of your Walt Disney World vacation. Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question, and may your visit be sprinkled with extra pixie dust from beginning to end!
