How do I book my lightning lane 3 days away from arrival?

Hi Debbi! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a fantastic option my family always selects either when purchasing our tickets or after scanning into the park for the day subject to availability. The price you see on the Disneyland mobile app today might be different than on the day of your visit. We appreciate the opportunity to spend less time waiting in queues and more time focused on the magic of the parks. It's especially useful with our little ones who aren't always content to wait. I think you'll be happy with your decision to choose this option!

At Disneyland Resort, Guests can select their first Lightning Lane Entrance return window after they've scanned into the park for the day, not before. I'm a planner by nature too, so I understand wanting to get a jump on selecting an Attraction that features a Lightning Lane Entrance. However, I find that I enjoy not having to worry about working around a pre-selected Attraction. Go where the day takes you! Plus, everyone selects their first Attraction when they arrive so you won't be behind in making your choices.

After selecting your first Lightning Lane Entrance window, you can pick again after two hours or after scanning into your first Lightning Lane Entrance, whichever comes first. For example, say you arrive at 9:05 AM Pacific Time and book a return window for Space Mountain in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park starting at 9:15 AM. You can book your next Attraction as soon as you've scanned into the Space Mountain Lightning Lane Entrance. You don't need to wait even if it's only 9:20 AM! I typically book our next Attraction as we're walking through the current Attraction's queue, so we're ready to move on to our next adventure quickly. It's that easy.

But if you booked your first Lightning Lane at 9:05 AM for the nearby Autopia at 11:55 AM, you'd need to wait until 11:05 AM to book your next Attraction. If your return time is beyond the minimum of two hours, book again at that two-hour mark. Your app will keep track so you don't have to!

My advice is to arrive early to get the most use out of this fantastic option.

    I hope this helps.
