Hiya, Jeremy! Welcome to planDisney.
There is nothing more magical than planning a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort. Sadly, sometimes life can throw some less-than-magical curveballs that mess up our plans. You can purchase a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass starting seven days before your check-in date for your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. If you cancel, the cost of Multi Pass is, unfortunately, non-refundable.
You may also want to take a look at the cancellation policies for your resort reservations. If you need to
cancel a vacation package, the cost is fully refundable up to 30 days before arrival. Since you are asking about timing with a Lightning Lane pass, you might be looking at something a little more last-minute. If your plans change within 2 to 29 days of your arrival, the amount you paid, minus a cancellation fee (currently $200), will be refunded. The total price is non-refundable if you cancel the day before or do not show up.
If you made a room-only reservation, you can cancel with a full refund up to 5 days before your arrival. Just as a heads-up: starting January 1, 2025, the policy is changing to 8 days ahead of time to receive a full refund.
If your plans change, you may want to see if you can
modify your reservation. If this is possible, it might help you save your Pixie Dust rather than feeling lost forever. However, changes to your resort or package reservations would not apply to the Multi Pass.
I hope this information is helpful, Jeremy. If you have any other questions as you go on this vacation or plan another, we are here for you at
planDisney.
