Bright Suns, Randy!
Your trip to a galaxy far, far away is fast approaching. You'll find no shortage of fun in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, from completing a mission to help the Resistance on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run to fueling up at
Ronto Roasters! If you're feeling adventurous, stop by the
Milk Stand to solve a debate on Batuu- which milk is better, blue or green? Though Luke Skywalker is seen favoring the blue milk, I personally swing the other way and prefer the green milk concoction!
Building your own lightsaber is a truly inspiring experience. You are able to make reservations at
Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers up to 60 days in advance using the
online reservation system or the
Disneyland Mobile App. I find it easiest to search through the availability online. You'll select the number of builders, then select a time slot (morning, afternoon, evening). Once you choose a time frame, the specific reservation times will pop up, allowing you to select the one that works best for your schedule. Once you choose your time slot, continue on to the next page to submit payment and your son will be confirmed for the experience of a lifetime!
Randy, if you are unable to find a reservation for your preferred day, you should check back frequently for new availability. As Guests' plans change before or during their trip, they often cancel or modify their reservations, opening those up for others to book.
Another tip- there are additional lightsaber accessories compatible with your new build available at
Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiques. If your son feels he needs to add a little something extra to make it his own, you could stop by after building to see what is available! Or, if you'd prefer to keep this a little secret, you could always consider grabbing something extra for his saber to present to him as a gift down the line!
Randy, I hope this helps you book this special experience for your son. Have a magical stay at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Until next time,
Ashley
