Can you book a Keys to the Kingdom tour in the park a few days before you want to do the tour? If so, where would I go to book this?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah!

I'm delighted to hear that you are considering signing up for the Keys to the Kingdom Tour in Magic Kingdom Park during your upcoming vacation. I can't say enough about what a treat this is for a true Disney enthusiast. I frequently take my graduating high school students on this tour as part of their senior trip. Walt Disney is such an interesting model to study with regard to his creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. The tour combines education and entertainment beautifully. I think you'll enjoy every minute.

While it is possible to book this tour a few days prior to your arrival, I don't recommend this strategy. These tours open for booking 180 days in advance. Some of them sell out quickly. I have purchased all the spots for my students on a few of these tours over the years. If you really want to take this tour, and I highly recommend that you do, then you should call as soon as you know which date you'd like to participate in this experience. Guests should call (407) WDW-TOUR, or (407) 939-8687, to make their reservation. Since this would be an overseas call for you, you may prefer to reach out to the Magic Kingdom Tours team by email at WDW.MK.TOURS@disney.com instead.

Wear comfortable shoes for the tour and be sure to ask your VIP Guide plenty of questions. They are a wellspring of fascinating information.

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
