When can I book a January 2023 stay at a resort? I've seen articles saying I should be able to now, but when I try to put those dates in on the website they are greyed out!

Hi there, Leanne!  It is so great to see you already looking forward to a fantastic Walt DIsney World Resort vacation, and we're glad you stopped by planDisney to ask your question.

Walt Disney World Resort often allows Guests to book "room-only" reservations up to 499 days in advance of their trip.  Since you're past that date, you should be set to reserve that perfect room at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel.  If you've ever stayed on Disney property you know that there's nothing like the magic that can be found at their resorts.  From bumping into a character you didn't expect to see, to the mind-blowing transportation options that get you to and from the parks, staying within the magic has so many perks.  My best advice would be to chat with a Cast Member on the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line at (407) 939-1936.  Usually Cast Members are able to book your luxurious hotel stay right over the phone.

If you're looking for a completely pixie-dusted package that includes theme park tickets and could even include a discount, I suggest checking back on the website in June or July.  Typically, this is when package deals come out for the following year.  If you do choose to book the room-only stay and then want to upgrade to a package, you can always do that too.

Happy planning, Leanne! Feel free to visit us again at planDisney as your magical vacation inches closer!

As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
