Ahoy, Amy!
It is almost time for your
magical voyage with Disney Cruise Line! I know it's been fun counting down the days until it's finally your turn to board, so I know you can't wait. It really is the best feeling when you set foot on the ship for the first time, see your favorite Disney pals, and finally enjoy all the hard work and planning.
Amy,
internet packages can be purchased once you can log in to the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, either in the cruise terminal or once onboard. You'll want to be connected to Disney Cruise Line's Wi-Fi, DCL-Guest. At the bottom of the screen, select "More" to see where to purchase an internet package. Currently, there are two options: the Basic Internet Package or the Internet + Streaming Package. The Internet + Streaming will give you a faster connection, plus let you stream videos from YouTube, watch shows and movies on your streaming platforms, and listen to music on audio streaming platforms, along with everything the Basic package offers. If you want to check email, text, post on your favorite social media platforms, and browse websites, the Basic Package will work. You should also be able to FaceTime or use Zoom on the Basic. I have found the Basic Internet package to work well on my last few cruises. I do find that with this package, I have to be a bit more patient, as it's not as fast as on land, and there are occasional service interruptions. It's also important to note that you can purchase internet for only one day or a couple of days, but you get a discount for a length of cruise package, and if you purchase internet for more than one device. If you do decide to share an internet package with another member of your stateroom, only one device can be connected at a time.
I am so excited for your adventure to get underway soon, Amy! I hope it's a vacation filled with magical moments, relaxation, and fun. Have a soft-serve ice cream for me and have the best time!
Nancy
