    If I book a hotel/ticket package, do I have to pay in full to make my park reservations, or can I do it as soon as I book and pay the deposit? Thx

    Hi, Andrew! Welcome back to planDisney!

    Booking a vacation package at the Disneyland Resort is such a smart idea because you can combine your theme park tickets, Disneyland Resort Hotel, and even a rental car or airport shuttle into one transaction. Plus, as you noted, if you book more than 30 days out from your arrival date, you only have to pay a deposit to complete the booking.

    You'll be glad to know that you can certainly make theme park reservations as soon as you book your vacation package. You do not need to wait until you pay in full (which is due 30 days prior to your arrival). When you book you vacation package online, you will receive a confirmation number via email. You will use that confirmation number to link the package to your Disneyland account and make theme park reservations. Let me walk you through the process:

    1. Start on the "Theme Park Tickets and Reservations" page and click the "Make Park Reservations" button. 
    2. After logging into your Disneyland Resort account, you will be directed to the "My Theme Park Reservations" page. Scroll down and click the "Retrieve Hotel Reservation" button. 
    3. Enter your confirmation number, last name, and arrival date. From there, you will be directed to make theme park reservations.
